An application for Outline Planning Permission to Watford Borough Council was submitted by the Watford Health Campus team on 31st July 2007.

The Development Control Committee of the Council "Resolved to Grant Outline Planning Permission" on 15th May 2008, subject to 3 main conditions, which have now been fulfilled.

Since 2008, the Health Campus partnership has had to consider its approach to the scheme, particularly in response to the changing economic environment that has had a significant impact on both the public sector and major regeneration schemes.

Kier Property is continuing to work with Watford Borough Council on the proposals to regenerate the Watford Health Campus site and will submit a planning application for a masterplan in the spring. The local community will be fully consulted as part of this process.
