Opportunities for business at Watford Health Campus

As a town Watford benefits from a location within the M25, having strategic rail and road network access to the Capital within 20-25 minutes. The town's "day population" is estimated to be 410,000 when commuters and shoppers at the regional shopping centre are taken into account. The regional shopping centre has an annual spend of circa £600m.

For the Watford Health Campus to be a commercially viable entity moving forward, key to the proposals are the opportunities open to businesses to be a part of Watford’s largest ever regeneration project.

The new Health Campus site aims to open up several opportunities for new Watford businsses by introducing business incubator and retail units as well as further leisure opportunities across the site, including a hotel, restaurants and cafes.

These units and business opportunities will provide job opportunities and an economic stimulus for the Campus and for the wider county of Hertfordshire, helping to make the proposals sustainable across the life of the project.
