How the Campus has interacted with the community

Public engagement is consistently on high on the agenda for the Watford Health Campus partners, making sure this development works with the community to deliver its needs and enhance local lives.

From the early stages of development to Campus team has been keen to engage with all sectors of our community and this has seen such developments as this website and its earlier incarnation, as well as public open meetings and forums, presentations, exhibitions and road shows - all of which have served to outline the aims and objectives of the Watford Health Campus.

Events to date have included consultations at:

This series of public consultation events included a six week programme running from May to June in 2007, aimed at raising awareness of the proposals at pre-planning stage. An online questionnaire running in conjunction with these events providing overwhelming levels of support in the responses gathered.

These events led to numerous expressions of interest and helped the Campus engage with thousands of people within the local communities that the Watford Health Campus would potentially serve.
